The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Client Relationship Manager with a bookkeeping or accounting background, ideally CA qualified, to join Visory. In this role, you'll focus on managing relationships with our small to medium business customers, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering account growth.
As a Client Relationship Manager, you’ll oversee the entire customer journey—from successful onboarding to ongoing account management. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to ensure new service and workflow requests are fulfilled promptly, and proactively seek opportunities to add value. Your role will involve regular engagement with business owners to align our services with their goals, while also educating them on platform utilisation. Additionally, you’ll serve as a key advocate for customer needs, providing insights that help shape the Product roadmap and ensuring customers receive the training they need for continued success with Visory.
We're looking for someone who:
- Detailed exposure to Accounting practices throughout their career and is looking for an exciting career change working with a Tech-led startup
- Has a demonstrated history of success in roles such as customer success, account management, project management, consulting, or sales
- Comes from a technical background, with previous experience and qualifications in accounting and has the ability to communicate complex technical information in a digestible format to a wide range of stakeholders
- Has the ability to understand the technical requirements of the customer and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
- Is commercially minded with an ability to identify growth opportunities
- Has proficiency in data analysis and an ability to understand its impact on the customer journey
- Holds excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Is highly organised with an ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
On an average day, you can expect to:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive the customer onboarding to a successful conclusion and reduce time to value
- Meet with business owners in line with regular account management structures and ensure Visory’s service is helping them to progress towards their business objectives
- Identify and address risks promptly, ensuring issues are escalated to the Quality team to rectify and outcomes for customers are achieved
- Keep customer documentation up to date based on dynamic customer needs
On an ongoing basis, you will:
- Ensure new service and workflow requests are captured and fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Marketplace Quality teams to ensure technical customer requirements are met.
- Communicate common customer behaviours to the sales, marketing and platform teams
- Look for opportunities to add value and proactively contact customers to discuss
- Develop and execute on Account management plans for each customer
